Founded in 1889, Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP), is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the public's understanding and appreciation of astronomy through scientists, educators, enthusiasts and the public as a vehicle for advancing science literacy and exchange. We invite you to join the Society and support the cause of advancing science literacy through engagement in astronomy. Learn more about the ASP.

Please note:

• We are no longer offering student memberships.
• We have added a new category, "Friend of the ASP" for $35. This is a non-member category and does not include the tangible benefits of association, but allows you to support the ASP's cause.
• We have changed the prices of some membership types to reflect the current costs of running our excellent astronomy education and outreach programs.

Technical Memberships

Technical Memberships include a monthly subscription to the printed and electronic Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. PASP is a refereed journal containing original research in astronomy. It features invited review papers on contemporary topics, contributed research articles, a section on astronomical instrumentation and data analysis, conference abstracts and summaries, and Ph.D. dissertation summaries.

E-Technical Membership includes a monthly subscription to electronic-only Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific. (The print version of PASP is not included.)
