Subscription Details

2009 Subscription rates are not yet available.

The ASP offers Institutions a special subscription rate to Mercury magazine, our quarterly member magazine. We're excited to announce that Mercury will be offered only as an electronic magazine starting in January of 2008. It will continue to carry semi-technical articles on current topics in astronomy, astrophysics, and space science, and is increasingly concentrating on how research scientists are becoming more involved in public education and outreach. Mercury is published four times per year, in January, April, July, and October. You will receive notification as to how to access Mercury prior to the first 2008 publication. We do not require a license agreement or IP address(es) for institutional subscriptions.

All subscriptions must be made directly through the Astronomical Society of the Pacific or with your current subscription agency. Renewal notices will be mailed four months in advance before the subscription expires. New subscriptions will receive a full year of magazines starting with the January issue of that year. Please note: subscriptions are not refundable.

The Institutional subscription rate for Mercury magazine is $48 per year. If you use a subscription agency, please contact them for new subscriptions or to renew. You may also subscribe online (below) or send us a purchase order using the information and order information below.

Note: ASP Membership benefits are not included with the Institutional Mercury Subscriptions. If you wish to receive these benefits, you must join the ASP as an Individual or Technical Member. More information on membership.
