 r. Liz MacDonald works for NASA at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Mary
land. She leads the Aurorasaurus citizen science project\, which uses citi
zen science and social media to predict the Northern and Southern Lights.
In 2018 MacDonald announced the discovery of a new aurora called STEVE (St
rong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement). You can report on whether or n
ot you can see the aurora at aurorasaurus.org\n\nSpiral Graph with Patrick
  Treuthardt\, Ph.D.\nPatrick Treuthardt\, Ph. D.\, is an astrophysicist wh
ose research is focused on the morphology and dynamics of disk galaxies\,
and also takes part in public outreach activities that increase access to
astronomy and science in general\, one of these projects being the Spiral
Graph program! You can help scientists measure the curvature of spiral arm
s in galaxies by participating in the Spiral Graph program at zooniverse.o

the National Institute of Aerospace. He is an active science popularizer a
nd book author\, and participates in many NASA programs in space science a
nd math education\, and on of his most recent projects is the Smartphone A
strophotography program\, which encourages individuals to take photos of t
he Moon\, planets\, and star clusters through their telescope with their s
