 ce invites you to join them for a virtual eclipse-planning workshop to be 
 held Friday-Saturday\, April 8-9\, 2022\, online via Zoom. This event will
  bring together astronomers\, educators\, local and state officials\, and 
 others involved (or wanting to become involved) in preparing their communi
 ties for the 2023 and 2024 North American solar eclipses. Each day's progr
 am will run from 9 am to 2 pm PDT (12 pm to 5 pm EDT).\n\nThe ASP will be 
 helping to lead this program\, part of an ongoing series launched before t
 he August 2017 'Great American' eclipse and designed for everyone involved
  in helping to ensure that residents and visitors across North America hav
 e safe\, enjoyable\, and inspiring experiences during the 2023 and 2024 so
 lar eclipses. Among attendees are the following:\n\n    Professional astro
 nomers\n    Amateur astronomers\n    Formal educators (e.g.\, teachers\, s
 uperintendents\, school board members)\n    Informal educators (e.g.\, at 
 museums\, planetariums\, libraries)\n    Science writers\, broadcast meteo
 rologists\, and other media\n    Representatives of tourism and visitors b
 ureaus\, Chambers of Commerce\, etc.\n    Owners and managers in the hospi
 tality industry (e.g.\, at hotels\, motels\, B&Bs\, campgrounds)\n    Repr
 esentatives of local\, state\, and national parks or forests\n    Elected 
 officials of local\, state\, and national government\n    Officials from l
 ocal\, state\, and national departments of transportation\n    Representat
 ives of federal science agencies\, national labs\, etc.\n    Officials fro
 m local and state law-enforcement agencies\n    Representatives of local\,
  state\, and national emergency-management organizations\n    Eclipse tour
  operators\n    Manufacturers and dealers of solar filters/viewers and oth
 er astronomical equipment\n\nWhether your community lies inside or outside
