X-WR-CALDESC:A group of science communication practitioners\, trainers and
researchers recently completed an NSF-funded project titled On-the-Spot Fe
edback (www.onthespotfeedback.org). The resulting work provides strategie
s and resources for science communicators to develop their skills at getti
ng immediate feedback during their public engagements\, which allows them
to adjust and improve their engagements on the spot.\n\nAlthough this meth
od was developed with scientists who communicate with public audiences in
mind\, On-the-Spot Feedback strategies can be used by anyone (including mu
seum educators\, science hobbyists\, extension agents\, etc.) who communic
ates ideas to public audiences.\n\nBy attending this 75-minute information
al webinar you will be introduced to:\n\n1. The On-the-Spot Feedback (
OTSF) project resources\, including the 137 page On-the-Spot Guide detaili
ng the OTSF approach.\n\n2. How the OTSF strategies help scientists an
d other science communicators collect instantaneous feedback during their
public engagements and improve their science communication skills. \n\nPle
ase complete the form even if you cannot attend live\, so we can send you
a link to the seminar recording for you to listen to at a more convenient
time.\n\nFree Registration and link to On-the-Spot-Feedback website below.
