AstroVerify is the Astronomical Society of the Pacific’s science verification program for GenAI-created astronomy videos.

Each submitted video is reviewed by astronomy experts for scientific accuracy. Videos that meet ASP standards receive a science-certified hologram badge and a public verification record, allowing creators to show audiences that their AI-generated content is accurate, transparent, and trustworthy.

AstroVerify certifies AI-generated or AI-assisted astronomy videos created for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, and educational media. This includes explainers, visualizations, simulations, narrated stories, and short-form science videos — provided they focus on astronomy or space science and meet ASP’s accuracy standards.

3. What does the science-certified hologram mean?

The science-certified hologram indicates that your GenAI astronomy video has been reviewed and approved by ASP astronomers.

Each hologram links to a public verification page that documents the review, certification date, and provenance record — giving viewers, educators, and platforms a transparent way to confirm that the science in your video is legitimate.
