Teacher Learning Center Virtual Astronomy Institute
In 2020, the ASP’s Teacher Learning Center (TLC) introduced the Virtual Astronomy Institute -The Universe in the Classroom covering classroom tested, inquiry-rich astronomy activities designed to engage students in investigations of space science phenomena. Lessons covered support NGSS Three-Dimensional Learning by combining content, crosscutting concepts, and science practices where teachers actively engage in professional development presenting astronomy content which easily translates into classroom instruction.
