Lauren Woolsey

Lauren Woolsey

Lauren Woolsey is an associate professor of astronomy and physics at Grand Rapids Community College. She has been teaching introductory science classes at the college level since graduating with her Ph.D. in astronomy and astrophysics from Harvard. She prefers teaching non-science majors to help improve scientific literacy and critical thinking skills across a wider audience. Lauren has served as the Open Educational Resources coordinator on her campus since 2019 and has made her lecture videos publicly available on YouTube since 2020.
