Congratulations to the ASP’s very own Kat Troche, Program Coordinator and Night Sky Network Administrator, with her Emmy Award and Webby as participant with NASA’s live broadcast coverage of the 2024 total solar eclipse: 2024 Total Solar Eclipse: Through the Eyes of NASA. NASA won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Live News Special for its coverage of the 2024 total solar eclipse and 6 Webby’s at the 29th Annual Webby Awards
Kat participated as camera operator for the NASA eclipse broadcast but also participated on the panel representing the NASA Night Sky Network (ASP’s project with NASA).
