As a life-long astronomy enthusiast who is passionate about supporting science education and literacy initiatives, I am honored to be able to share my fundraising knowledge with the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP). In my role at the ASP, I oversee development operations and work to build new and deeper partnerships with supporters to fund the important work we do.
I’ve spent my career in the non-profit and fundraising consulting sectors, helping organizations raise more than $75 million. In 2022, I achieved a life goal of obtaining my Certified Fund Raising Executive credential. I am also deeply committed to educating the next generation of fundraising professionals and have lectured on a variety of topics including fundraising solicitation techniques and strategic planning at the University of Virginia Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership and the Brown-Tully Institute.
I am interested in animal rescue and veterinary medicine and hold a veterinary technician license and a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Education from the Royal Veterinary College. I also love to bake and play golf.
