Q: I paid for the conference, but was not able to attend live or I attended the conference, but missed many sessions I wanted to attend. When will the videos be available to view? Will we be able to download or share them?

A: Due to the editing and posting process, along with the ASP offices closing over the holidays, the Post-Conference Attendee Portal will be available, only to paid Registrants, in late January for up to 90 days. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause. There will be links to the videos of each session and the chats and/or documents that accompany each session. We will also be listing the posters to review. The videos themselves are not shareable or downloadable. We will send out an email to notify you when access is available. Please note that the Post-Conference Attendee Portal link is for individual use only and can not be shared, or used on multiple platforms by the same user.

Q: Can I still view the video posters? How do I see the video posters? I don't see a link for those, the linked text on the attendee portal just opens another conference schedule.

A: You still have access to the Attendee Portal that shows the schedule via the emails sent to you during the Live Conference. While the Attend links are no longer valid, the links to the abstracts are available as well as  links to the Video Posters. When you click on the hyperlinked "Video Posters viewing" text on the schedule in the Attendee Portal, it should open a pop-up window with text and links to 9 videos there. An attendee reports a tip on pop up windows: "Usually I'll get a message about pop up windows, and then I can approve. After I went to Firefox settings and gave the website explicit permission, the pop up works. Thanks!! I then checked on Chrome, and that works too."

Q: Will there be a place where recommended website URLs mentioned by speakers will be captured?

A: Presenters are encouraged to share important URLs in the chat window, and then encourage attendees to click there to have a browser tab opened to that page. We may also offer a document filled with shared links when we send the link to the Post-Conference Attendee Portal in January.

Q: Will there be a place where handouts from speakers will be captured?

A: After the conference, we plan to offer a collection space where such short docs from presenters can be compiled.Please know that this will not be a repository for PowerPoint slide presentations. Instead, presenters are asked to please write up Conference Proceedings articles (including relevant links, figures, images, etc.) for the ASP2020 proceedings volume to be published in 2021 by the ASP Conference Series. 

Q: I understand the conference technology used Zoom meetings and webinars. Do I need an account to view the recorded videos?

A: All of the sessions were recorded and will be uploaded as Vimeo files accessible via the html link.

Q: I registered for the conference but can not find my confirmation email or attendance with the link to the Attendee Portal

A: All registrants were sent an email reply immediately confirming your registration status with the ASP2020 conference. If you used two separate email addresses, you do need to try each one of them. Please check your email SPAM folder if you have not received either of these emails as a registrant. We also recommend changing your settings so that you can receive all emails from our conference when we offer the link to the Post-Conference Attendee Portal in January. If you still can not find your emails from registration and/or the Live Conference in early December, please contact us at meeting@astrosociety.org

Q: I ordered a Conference Series volume at a special price before or during the conference. When will the publication be available?

A: Sometime in the late Summer of 2021
