"International A4E Panel: Why Are We Here & What Are We Doing?"
Students and the global youth are going to be the most impacted by the climate crisis. They disproportionately share the burden of anxiety over the need to act in the fight against climate change and the fight for climate justice. Three astronomy graduate students from around the world share what they are doing within their respective countries, at their institutions, and within their communities. Come learn about ways students are making a difference by contacting their governments, fighting big business, joining organizations, and making their personal lives more sustainable. As a student, be inspired by ways you, too, can get involved. As an educator, hear what students are thinking, what their concerns are, and what action they'd like to see from their professors, administrators, and institutions to ensure they have a future to look forward to.
