The Great July 11 Total Solar Eclipse Expedition to the Marquesas Islands & Tuamotus

June 28-July 12, 2010
Adventurers and artists such as Captain Cook, Herman Melville, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Paul Gauguin were mesmerized by the paradise found in the mysterious Marquises Islands and Tuamotus. Today the inhabited islands of the Marquesas are so remote that few from the outside world touch the paradise of these islands.

The Great Rift Valley Annular Eclipse

January 8 – 19, 2010
The Great Rift Valley, which runs through Kenya, is considered by some the cradle of civilization and is justifiably one of the world’s best organized safari destinations in Africa. It offers 1200 species of birds, including a million or more flamingos standing in a shimmering pink mass at Lake Nakuru, where the annularity will last for an incredible 8 minutes on January 15, 2010.

Paris: Art, Astronomy, and History

September 17 – 24, 2009
Join astronomy historian and writer, Dr. William Sheehan, author of MARS: Lure of the Red Planet and In Search of Vulcan, for seven nights in Paris, France, and an incredible astronomy and art history vacation.
