*Please note there is no day-of registration available for this symposium. Recordings will be available soon after the conference for up to 6 months to paid-registrants and can not be shared or downloaded.
We recommend reading these instructions carefully prior to completing the Registration Form so that you know what information is necessary prior to filling out the multipage online form.

Existing Members: Logging into your MyASP account is not required. Simply select the ASP Member Registration fee during registration. Only one member can register at a time. If you are a member but you are also signing up for additional registrations, simply add as many Non-Member Registrants as needed. Only one payment method will be allowed. JOIN THE ASP and join a community passionate about astronomy education and making a difference in science literacy. The ASP welcomes all astronomy researchers, scientists, students, enthusiasts, and educators from “stargazers” to “explorers” to participate in and support our mission via membership.
Important note to New or Returning Members: If you join the ASP or renew an outdated membership, please allow 24 hours prior to registering for the symposium. Or you can contact us during the day at 415-715-1400 or by email: email@example.com.
Scholarships: The ASP is making funds available for students and international participants who are in need of scholarships in order to attend. Scholarships are no longer available. If you applied and did not hear back from us, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org
Form of Payment: We accept credit card payment (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA). We also accept payment by check or credit card payment by phone. Simply register and select "other payment" and you will receive directions. Your registration(s) will not be valid until we receive payment.
Confirmation: At the end of the registration process all registrants will receive a confirmation email as well as the opportunity to print a copy of the submission data. A separate payment confirmation email will be sent to the bill payment email.
Schedule and Mailing List: The schedule of the Symposium on July 23 is 8:30am - 6:30pm Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). As a registrant you will be on our conference mailing list that will include a receipt confirmation of your registration as well as emails notifying attendees of the meeting schedule, plenary and workshop/meeting speakers as well as any other details necessary to attend the 1-day conference. The July 22nd evening public talk with Jill Tarter including the exclusive discussion post-talk, is included in registration. The time at 5:00pm PDT for about 60 minutes for the public and an additional exclusive hour for registrants.
Symposium Recordings: All sessions of the 1-day symposium will be recorded and available after the conference for registrants to view through January 31, 2022. You must be registered for the conference in order to obtain access, and the recordings will not be available to share or download.
Refund Policy: Attendance Fees are refundable with an administrative fee of $10 per attendee to cover processing and administrative expenses, if made before Wednesday, July 21 at 5pm PT. You must contact the ASP via email at: email@example.com or by phone at 415-715-1400 before the deadline.
