ASP's Winter Field School takes undergraduates to Fairbanks to chase auroras!

Winter Field School, part of the Eclipse Ambassadors Program, is in full swing in Fairbanks, where 9 undergraduate students from across the continental USA who participated in NASA-funded Eclipse Ambassadors program are up to Fairbanks to chase auroras! While there, they will engage in a week-long field school, with classes in heliophysics and related phenomena, hands on projects, and citizen science. This winter field school is in partnership with Aurorasaurus, with classes at the Geophysical Institute at the University of Fairbanks Alaska. Thanks to partners at the GLOBE program, NASA HEAT, and many more for their contributions!
