How to Register:
Existing ASP Members: Logging into your MyASP account is not required. Simply select the ASP Member Registration fee during registration. Only one member can register at a time. If you are a member but also signing up for additional registrations, simply add as many Non-Member Registrants as needed. Only one payment method will be allowed. If you cannot remember the email you use for Membership, or if you are a current member and you cannot register, please contact us before you begin registration: firstname.lastname@example.org
New ASP Members:
JOIN THE ASP and join a community passionate about astronomy education and making a difference in science literacy. The ASP welcomes all astronomy researchers, scientists, students, enthusiasts, and educators from “stargazers” to “explorers” to participate in and support our mission via membership.
Important note to New or Returning Members: If you join the ASP or renew an outdated membership, please allow 24 hours prior to registering for the symposium. Or you can contact us by email: email@example.com.
Form of Payment: We accept credit card payment (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or VISA). We also accept payment by check or credit card payment by phone. Simply register and select "other payment" and you will receive directions and contact information. Your registration(s) will not be valid until we receive payment.
Confirmation: At the end of the registration process all registrants will receive a confirmation email as well as the opportunity to print a copy of the submission data. A separate payment confirmation email will be sent to the bill payment email. Please be sure to check your SPAM folder.
Schedule: We will send out emails confirming the time range of the symposium as well as plenary and session speakers as they become available. We will publish a full schedule closer to the Symposium day.
UPDATED: Special Evening Public Talk: The Summer Symposium opens Thursday night, August 18 featuring a special public talk by Jessica Harris, available complimentary to the paid Symposium attendees with a special Q&A after the talk exclusive to Symposium attendees. More Details.
Symposium Recordings: All sessions of the 1-day symposium will be recorded and available after the conference for registrants to view for up to 6 months. You must be registered for the conference in order to obtain access.
NEW! Virtual Interpreting: We will be offering ASL (American Sign Language) interpretation for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing for the Special Evening Talk with Jessica Harris only as well as Closed Captioning (interpreted by Zoom) for the Evening Talk and all Plenaries and Sessions for the one-day Symposium.
Refund Policy: Attendance Fees are refundable with an administrative fee of $10 per attendee to cover processing and administrative expenses, if made before Wednesday, August 17 at 5pm PT. You must contact the ASP via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org before the deadline.
