FAQs for Abstract Submissions

How do I submit an abstract?
You must begin the Abstract Submission process via this link. (No emailed abstracts will be accepted.) You will need to create an account, then step through the submission process. Please read through the Abstract Submission Guidelines posted, as they spell out some information needed in your abstract submission.

Where are the Abstract Submission Guidelines?
The PDF is posted on our website.

I’m stuck in the abstract submission process, and can’t figure out how to proceed/finish. Can you help?
Please send us an email describing your present situation and the problem you’re encountering. Screen shots and details will make it easier for us to assist you.

Can I come back to edit my abstract details before submitting it?
Yes, log back in and you should be able to edit it.

Can I come back to edit my abstract details after submitting it (such as adding co-presenters)?
Yes, log back in and you should be able to edit it.

I did not receive a confirmation email after I submitted my abstract? How come?
There are two things that could have happened:

  1. Your confirmation email landed in your Spam folder. Please look there first.

  2. You may have clicked the "Saved Submission" button, but forgot to click the final "Submit" button after you "Saved". You always have access to your account and can go back in to review your submission and hit the "Submit" button. Your submission will also indicate if you have successfully submitted or not.

When will I find out if I’m accepted?
Abstracts submitted prior to the abstract submission deadline will be reviewed and acceptances will be emailed prior to the Early Bird registration deadline of June 30, 2024.

If my abstract is accepted, can I qualify for Early Bird Registration fees?
You will be notified prior to the Early Bird Registration deadline of June 30, 2024

When does Conference Registration Open?
Early Bird registration is scheduled to open late May.

Will there be poster sessions for this conference?
The style of posters created for in-person events continues to evolve when designed for and presented at virtual conferences. We continue to look for the easiest solutions, but in the meantime are taking a pause in offering poster sessions at the conference.

If my abstract is accepted do I need to register for the conference?

All presenters will be notified first with an acceptance and then with instructions for your presentation(s) and registration. Registration (unless otherwise specified) is required to attend. Please check your email SPAM folder if you have not received either of these emails as a registrant.
